Projected Two Start Pitchers for this Week:

Other Two Start Pitchers:
At the top three hitters parks
At the top three pitchers parks Ratchet Them Up: Francisco Liriano (SP, Twins): Has finally been recalled to the Twins. He’s been tearing up the minors and could be a force to be reckoned with. Jason Bay (OF, Red Sox): Bay’s value has never been higher, he’ll actually hit in an order where he’s likely to have runners on base and someone behind him to drive him in. Expect increased production down the stretch. Frank Thomas (DH, A’s): Returned from the DL, but he’s not swinging at full strength. Mark Teixeira (1B, Angels): Should benefit from playing in LA with slightly better RBI and runs scored numbers and the inspiration of a playoff hunt. Jason Isringhausen (CL, Cardinals): Has reclaimed the closer's role. Rocco Baldelli (OF, Rays): The uber talented Baldelli is expected to come back to the majors in next few days. He’ll likely fill a DH role. Brian McCann (C, Braves): Should be ready for full time action again after suffering a concussion. Jerry Hairston Jr (2B/SS/OF, Reds): Returned from the DL - he’s got speed and average if you need them. Ratchet Them Down: Khalil Greene (SS, Padres): Broke his hand punching a wall on Wednesday. He’ll miss at least 2-3 weeks, but some reports say he is done for the season. John Maine (SP, Mets): Will miss a start this week to rest his ailing shoulder. Nomar Garciaparra (3B, Dodgers): Was placed on the 15 day DL AGAIN! This time with a ligament sprain in his knee. Mike Lowell (3B, Red Sox): Has a right hip strain, which could limit his action this week. Jose Guillen (OF, Royals): Has a hip flexor issue which could limit his ability to play, and to hit the ball for power over the next week. Milton Bradley (OF, Rangers): Is battling a strained quadriceps muscle and could miss time next week. Alexi Casilla (2B, Twins): Has a torn tendon in his right thumb and is probably done for the year. Scott Podsednik (OF, Rockies): Was placed on the DL with a fractured finger. Adam LaRoche (1B, Pirates): Was placed on the DL with a strained ribcage. Paul LoDuca (C, Nationals): Was released by the team. Johnny Estrada (C, Nationals): Was released by the team. Felipe Lopez (2B, Nationals): Was released by the team. Pedro Feliz (3B, Phillies): Was placed on the 15 day DL due to back problems. Michael Young (SS, Rangers): Has a fractured ring finger. He’s trying to play through it, but expecting a fall off of his ability to hit would be natural.
